RAIL, INDUSTRIAL & mining

Rail, industrial and mining Photography in Sydney and Australia wide for small and large client organisations such as government, contractors, mining companies and alike..

Whether it be images of valuable assets in the remote outback fields of Australia, or capturing workers performing major rail works on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, professional photography, video and time-lapse can make a huge difference in how you present you and your projects or team to your clients or stakeholders for internal and external marketing, progress reporting and documentation.

I’m often engaged to photograph major projects in the rail and mining industry for clients to not only showcase their capabilities, but to also use as a tool in reporting on a projects status in regular meetings and reports. Social media of courser has a massive need for relevant and authentic content too, and much of what I capture is intended for such purpose.

I am equipped with the proper knowledge and safety equipment (PPE) to work in almost any environment.

This includes:

  • White Card - Construction Induction

  • Work Safely at Heights

  • Safely Access the Rail Corridor (RISI / RIW card).

  • Elevated Work Platform (under 11m).

  • RePL - CASA accredited remote pilots licence for drone operations.

All sites require site specific inductions and I am happy to complete what steps are necessary to access and safely meet the brief. One thing for sure with any small or large project, safety is my number one priority.

When on sites mine sites and short timeline projects such as rail infrastructure works, it is tremendously important ensure that the workers are on board with my work. I do my best to include them where possible and doing so usually results on more conducive shoots. Some times the workers come up with ideas of their own! I pride myself on dealing with all kinds of people when working in these extreme environments where staff and contractors are under immense pressure to meet project milestones. From 24/7 rail projects to outback mine sites, I love it all.

From 24/7 rail projects to outback mine sites, I love the pressure of a high intensity worksite.
