I am really lucky in the way that I get to do what I love, every single day. Now industrial photography is far from glamourous, but it’s a part of my life that I really enjoy. I suppose there is something appealing about finding the beauty in amongst construction sites and visual mess. A lot of industrial photography is about seeing the graphic elements such as lines, shapes and textures. Not too different to architectural photography I suppose.
The images below were shot for a client based in Melbourne who were after some Sydney Industrial Photography as they have some projects going in progress in Sydney. It’s always a real compliment when I am booked for work from another state (or country) as the decision is based solely on my body of work. My client is using these images not only for their promotional use but they are also using them to update their client on the progress of the project. These were taken at two separate building projects on a warm Spring day in Western Sydney. Hope you enjoy!
A couple of months ago I was commissioned to photograph a series of portraits for the ASB Research Highlights Brochure. Captured in the ASB building and surrounding Kensington Campus in Sydney. The brief called for relaxed corporate style portraits showing warm, confident and approachable subjects. Photographed over two days, we were lucky to beat some heavy rain whilst shooting some portraits outside.
